Mr. Brassard’s Weekly Letter

St. Augustine School

“Following the way, the truth, and the life of Christ”

                                                                                                                               May 19, 2017

Dear St. Augustine Family,

First Communion

Our second graders will make their First Communion this Sunday at 1:00 pm at the church. They have been practicing all week with Sister Dorothy from 3:30-5:00pm – kind of like a First Communion boot camp. Sister will have them well-prepared for this momentous occasion in their religious life. We wish them all true happiness this weekend.

This week began the exam schedule for our middle school grades. Another sign of the upcoming end of the school year. Please pray for all the students as they take their last exams/tests before the end of the year.

Mass Club

We had our last Mass Club of the year this past Thursday. Thank you again to all the students who attended the 7:00 am Mass once a month since September. Also, thank you to all those teachers, parents, and grandparents who were able to join us and help out with the snacks that were had after each Mass. Even though we had a consistently large number of student attendees, we welcome new comers next September.

Next week, we have our school Mass on Ascension Thursday at 9:00am – all our welcome to attend. Also, next Wednesday night, we have our spring concert/performance which has the theme of Broadway musicals. Please remember that the start time has changed to 6:30pm due to the Ascension Thursday vigil Mass. Doors will open at 6:oopm – no earlier.

Until next week…

God Bless,

Mr. Andrew Brassard
